Âne, Cerf, Chameau, Cheval, Dromadaire, Écureuil, Éléphant, Girafe, Griffon, Kangourou, Levrette, Lièvre, Lion, Renard, Sanglier, etc.
At the time, knife brands were often inspired by animal names.

Creation of the Douk-Douk® brand
The company's flagship product. Gaston Cognet got the idea when he was leafing through a dictionary and saw a small effigy representing the Melanesian spirit of the same name.
Douk-Douk® on sale
Douk Douk® was originally intended for the Melanesian market, but had its heyday in Africa.
Creation of the first Le Thiers® knife
Pierre Cognet created his first Le Thiers® knife in 1995. This model is made entirely from stainless steel.
Re-edition of regional knives
It was at the Coutellia show in Aulnat that the Capucins and Montpellier were born in 1997.
The ephemeral and historic Napoleon series
The Napoleon was created in a limited edition of 1815 and was a great success.
The original dies were destroyed in 2021.
